Focusing on SMC Parks (custom Google map), we’ll check off almost half of the 21 total parks & historic sites.

Come to one, all 10, or anything between. For the hike, brewery, or both. We’re flexible! But please sign up so we can track attendance.

Why this Hike-a-Palooza?

I’ve met with staff/volunteers of 30+ San Mateo County environmental sustainability groups in the last few months, exploring the benefits of tighter collaboration. I can sincerely say there are amazing leaders across dozens of organizations – nonprofits, city/county teams, high school clubs, and clean tech businesses.

Across many disciplines – climate, food, energy, land, transportation, waste, and water – they’re focused on smart solutions to large challenges. Lowering our ecological footprint. Pursuing healthy and happy living.

We’re so lucky to have these dedicated, intelligent and effective partners in our community. But the stakes are high.

I passionately believe we’ll all benefit from broadening our networks, discovering intersections, and increasing collaboration. I’m confident we can find ways to move faster and farther together.

But… the simple first step is getting to know each other; in this case, in a casual setting.

SIGN UP HERE and come trek with us!!!

Hike on,
